American fast food chain Dairy Queen has seen three of its Kansas-based restaurants experience rapid growth over the short term using a highly-targeted SMS campaign. Offering 99 cent burgers through text message marketing, Dairy Queen saw 106 of its 590 subscribers avail of the offer. This was a 493 per cent increase on regular business
during the time period in question, further highlighting the value of using SMS Marketing to target existing subscribers.
